A period correct Alfa twin cam 1570CC engine with twin weber 40 DCOE carbs, race headers and exhaust system, electronic ignition system and an engine oil cooler with an Accusump oil system powers this Italian rocket. The car boasts an excellent Alfa/Italian paint scheme that is in good condition for the amount of action this car has seen as documented in Vintage Sports Car Drivers Association and Vintage Auto Racing Association Vehicle Log Books from 1987 through September, 2014 where it was entered in the Coronado Festival of Speed.
The transmission is a manual 4 speed with an Alfa posi-traction rear end.
Suspension includes upgrades front and rear with Heim joints and heavier race springs with Koni shocks and a large sway bar.
Stopping is provided courtesy of four wheel disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors and a dual brake master cylinder system with a proportioning valve for the rear brakes. The car sets on 4 x 7.5 Paranasport rims with Toyo Proxes R888 205/55/14 tires. The cockpit is complete with Autometer gauges and tachometer with a shift light. A full VARA approved roll cage system, a Recaro racing seat with a six point safety harness system, a Sparco steering wheel and an onboard fire system complete the driver amenities.
Odyssey AGM battery.
ATL fuel cell with a Holley red fuel pump and fuel regulator
Raydot, correct date, racing mirrors
Many spare parts are included.
This is an excellent little car for vintage racing at any VARA events or the Coronado Speed Festival.
